Register Now: Best Practices for CoC Operative Standards 5.3-5.6

The Cancer Surgery Standards Program (CSSP), CoC, and the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) are collaborating to host a webinar on July 17 at 1:00 pm CT on the requirements for the CoC Operative Standards. This webinar will provide ODS-certified professionals with best practices and tips to support compliance with the CoC Operative Standards (Standards 5.3-5.6). Those with questions on program expectations, case eligibility requirements, or how to pull lists for site visits should plan to attend.

Learning Objectives

• To understand the rationale, technical and documentation requirements for the CoC Operative Standards 5.3-5.6
• To outline best practices for identification of eligible cases for CoC Operative Standards 5.3-5.6
• To define best practices with implementation of the CoC Operative Standards 5.3-5.6 to facilitate compliance

The webinar will be available free of charge to NCRA members and will offer 1 hour of Continuing Education, compliments of NCRA. The webinar will be recorded and available via NCRA’s Center for Cancer Registry Education (CCRE) for members unable to attend live.  The webinar will be available online for the ACS Community; please note no CE will be provided if viewed through the ACS.

Registration is available at NCRA’s Center for Cancer Registry Education. The deadline to register is Friday, July 12. We encourage you to submit questions prior to the webinar. Email your questions to cssp@facs.org no later than Friday, July 12.
