Dr. Jennifer Wargo is Featured Speaker at CoC Oncology Lecture

This year’s CoC Oncology Lecture, scheduled for Wednesday, October 25 at Clinical Congress 2023 in Boston, MA, will feature Jennifer Wargo, MD, MMSc, from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. CoC Chair Timothy W. Mullett, MD, MBA, FACS, will serve as Presiding Officer and Introducer.

Dr. Wargo will discuss her efforts to advance the understanding and treatment of disease through science. Throughout her career, Dr. Wargo has focused on immune responses in melanoma and has established a unique set of serial tumor biopsies and blood samples from patients enrolled in clinical trials. Through analyses of these samples, she has contributed significantly to the world literature regarding resistance mechanisms and the effect of targeted therapy on anti-tumor immunity.
