CAP Hosts Future of Data Summit

August 17, 2023

The College of American Pathologists (CAP) will host The Future of Cancer Data: Unlocking Insights With Pathology Reporting on Friday, October 6 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, preceding the start of CAP23. The 1-day summit will review how the untapped potential of cancer pathology data can improve outcomes for cancer patients. Thought leaders in pathology, oncology, surgery, informatics, and cancer registries are encouraged to attend and share their experiences, best practices, and novel uses of pathology data for research, public health, population science, and quality improvement.  

Registration is through the CAP23 website. During the registration process, you will be presented with an option to register for the annual meeting, the Cancer Data Summit or both. If you have any questions, contact cancerprotocols@cap.org with questions.

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
