Quality Improvement Update

October 31, 2024

Be on the lookout for additional information coming soon regarding the ACS Cancer Programs 2025 National Quality Improvement Projects, including the Genetic Access Pilot and year two of 5.8 Lung NODES. As a reminder, the deadline to apply for the Genetic Access Pilot is December 20, and the deadline for new and returning programs to apply for year two of 5.8 Lung NODES is January 30, 2025. New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
