The COVID-19 Accreditation Tracker may be used to document accreditation compliance issues occurring in 2022 for the Commission on Cancer (CoC), National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), and National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC).
Located on the Resources page in the Quality Portal, the COVID-19 Accreditation Tracker should be used for 2020, 2021, and 2022 activities with a separate tracker or tab for each year. If a program cannot comply with a standard due to the pandemic, the tracker must be uploaded to the Pre-Review Questionnaire (PRQ) under the General Documents/Other section for its next site visit. Only standards impacted by the pandemic need to be completed in the tracker. Documentation in the tracker or committee minutes should clearly indicate:
It is recommended, but not required, that an action plan to achieve compliance within a proposed timeframe be written in the cancer committee minutes. The COVID-19 Accreditation Tracker does not apply to standards that include a chart review.
Programs with an upcoming due date and a deficiency that cannot be resolved due to the pandemic should submit the COVID-19 Accreditation Tracker or supporting committee minutes that document the issues and status for any affected deficient standards.
Please note: the COVID-19 Accreditation Tracker may not be used in lieu of standard compliance for programs undergoing initial accreditation.
The COVID-19 Accreditation Tracker will no longer be utilized or accepted for 2023 activities on standard compliance for CoC, NAPBC, and NAPRC accredited programs.
