2025 ACS Quality and Safety Conference Abstract Submissions are Open

December 5, 2024

The ACS has issued a call for abstracts to be presented at the 2025 ACS Quality and Safety Conference, July 17-20 in San Diego, California. The deadline for submitting abstracts is March 3, 2025.

Healthcare professionals are encouraged to submit a 250-word abstract for presentation. Abstracts are accepted as an oral presentation, poster presentation, or both.

Abstract submissions should:

  • Relate to surgical quality improvement initiatives, including the development, implementation, or validation of best practices
  • Follow operational best practices relating to workflows around collecting data and reporting
  • Use data from a nationally recognized surgical quality registry sponsored by a surgical society

There is no limit on the number of abstracts submitted per author.

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
