Article Examines How OSCS Manuals Help Surgical Trainees

December 19, 2024

The editorial “Setting the Standard for the Future of Cancer Surgery: Utilizing the Operative Standards for Trainees” was recently published in the Journal of Surgical Education by authors from the CSSP and the ACS Resident and Associate Society (RAS). The authors discuss how the Operative Standards for Cancer Surgery (OSCS) manuals can serve as a tool for the education of surgical trainees.

The CSSP recently worked in collaboration with the RAS to host “Operative Standards for Cancer Surgery Webinar: A Resource for Resident/Fellow Surgical Education. This educational webinar introduced the OSCS manuals and highlighted how these surgical guidelines can help trainees.
