Laparoscopic General Surgery

November 15–19, 2021 | IRCAD—Hôpitaux Universitaires, Strasbourg, France

Course Objectives

  • Provide the basic knowledge required for safe use of laparoscopic surgery
  • Describe all technical (instruments, trocars, energy sources) and physiology principles of laparoscopic surgery
  • Critically review the most common laparoscopic surgical procedures
  • Teach or improve laparoscopic skills by repeatedly practicing suturing, knot-tying, and performing surgical procedures during hands-on sessions

Interventional GI Endoscopy

  • Provide the knowledge required to make progress in the field of gastrointestinal interventional endoscopy
