I am currently the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY, a major trauma center and primary affiliate of Downstate Medical Center. I am currently a Governor Representative from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons to the American College of Surgeons, and the current chairman of the Orthopedic Advisory Council to the ACS. Previously I had been in private practice in New York City with hospital affiliations at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and Hospital for Joint Diseases, where I was an Attending in Orthopedic Surgery. I am currently active on the Trauma Multidisciplinary Committee at Kings County, and supervise orthopedic residents and medical students who are on rotation from SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
