Dr. Nancy Perrier is a dedicated endocrine surgeon with fellowship training dedicated to the expertise of surgical endocrine abnormalities. Her practice is committed to surgical intervention of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal neuroendocrine tumors. Dr. Perrier has vast experience multiple endocrine neoplasias (MEN diseases), von Hipple Lindau and all inherited endocrine surgical diseases. She treats both benign and malignant disease and her current research focuses on parathyroid carcinoma and prediction and prevention of genetic endocrine disease. Her surgical acumen spans minimally invasive surgical procedures to end bloc resection for gross malignancy. Her practice includes both pediatric and adult patients. She serves as chief of the Surgical Endocrine Section, Director of the MD Anderson Surgical Endocrine Fellowship and Associate Director of the MD Anderson multidisciplinary endocrine center. Her high volume clinical practice is coordinated with outcomes based research. She is an endocrine editor in the NCI PDQ and the American Joint Cancer Commission (AJCC) of cancer staging. She is a leader in her field, nationally and internationally.
