Biography

I am a Professor of Surgery at University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University. I am the director of bariatric surgery and for the esophageal and swallowing center for University Hospitals. I am the director of minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Geauga Medical Center in Chardon. Our bariatric program has 3 accredited centers. I have to offices at main campus, Chagrin Highlands and at Geauga Medical Center. I specialize in esophageal and swallowing disorders including reflux and achalasia. I interpret the esophageal physiology studies including manometry, pH studies and impedance. I also perform minimally invasive hernia repair, cholecystectomy and colectomy.
