Biography

Fellowship Trained (Brigham & Women's Hospital) in spinal surgery, Practice focuses on all aspects of spinal surgery. Special areas of expertise: Minimally invasive spinal surgery Spinal tumor surgery Deformity correction Intradural tumors and pathology, such as congenital anomalies Standard areas of expertise: Lumbar disk herniations Cervical disk herniations Thoracic disk herniations spinal fusion spinal stenosis artificial disk replacement, cervical and lumbar Dr. Jenkins is the Director of our Spinal Tumor Program, and hosts a weekly dedicated Spinal Tumor Board for multidiscliplinary management of spinal tumors, primary or metastatic. Dr. Jenkins collaborates extensively with other clinicians, and frequently performs procedures in partnership with other surgeons, including Orthopedic surgeons, Thoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, ENT surgeons, and others. Dr. Jenkins is developing new techniques and technologies in the treatment of spinal cord injury and spinal tumor management.
