Dr. Bartsich was born and raised in New York City. She was educated in the French school system at the Lycée Français de New York and learned early on to appreciate an international aesthetic. She completed the French Baccalauréat degree in biology, then an undergraduate degree in Psychology at Cornell University. Dr. Bartsich pursued her interest in design by completing a graduate degree at Parsons School of Design, followed by study abroad in foreign language and art. Her design experience ranges from fashion to architecture, with a focus on balance and natural aesthetics. Dr. Bartsich completed her premedical studies at Columbia University and her medical degree at the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. She was accepted into the independent program in Plastic Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital where she trained as a resident at a wide range of top ranked academic institutions in Manhattan. As a resident, she was awarded a research grant to pursue studies in implant-based breast surgery. This research won an award at the national Aesthetic Meeting in 2011, and ultimately became the basis of her current academic endeavors. In 2013, Dr. Bartsich was appointed as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York Presbyterian Hospital Medical Center. She has been widely published in several peer-reviewed journals, and has been invited to speak at local and national conferences. Dr. Bartsich is a native bilingual, fluent in both French and English, and with a strong knowledge of Spanish. She welcomes new patients, both local and international, and her office is happy to accommodate visitors’ needs. "I believe that the goal of plastic surgery is to restore and to optimize form and function, while seeking an intuitive balance. This approach means customizing treatment to the individual and maximizing each patient's potential."
