Surgical Oncologist with Sentara Medical Group taking care of breast cancer and melanoma. I am also Director of Oncology for the Peninsula Region of Hampton Roads providing support to the oncology programs for the Peninsula. I have a history of physician leadership having served on the Sentara Medical Group Board of Directors In 2015 and the BayCare Medical Group Board of Directors from 2020-2023. I was the medical staff president for Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey from 2020-2022. I have been active in oncology serving the Cancer Liaison Physician for Morton Plant Mease from 2019-2024 and was fortunate to be the Commision on Cancer State Chair for Zone A of Florida from 2022-2024. I served as medical director of Oncology for Morton Plant Mease from 2022-2024. In addition, I was the medical director of surgical services for BayCare Medical Group from 2023-2024 prior to relocating to Sentara Health. I have a history of advocacy at both the state and national level. In Florida, I served on the Florida Medical Association's Council on Legislation and on the FMA PAC Board of Directors including the treasurer-designate from 2023-2024. Nationally, I have been active with the American College of Surgeons serving on the Young Fellows Association Governing Council from 2019-2024 and was the Chair of the Advocacy workgroup from 2022-2024. I am currently on the SurgeonsPAC Board of Directors and was the SurgeonsVoice Advocate of the Year in 2023.
