Biography

I am a general surgeon who trained at Harlem Hospital / Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University. I am currently working in a hospital based rural surgical practice in Eastern Kentucky. My hospital allows me to care for a unique patient population in rural America. It also allows me to deliver a great breadth of surgical care to my patients, something that is inherent to the practice of rural surgery. I enjoy the rewards and challenges of practicing my profession in a rural setting and I think it has much to offer in terms of patient care and career satisfaction.
