I am Dr. Md Lokman hossain is currently working as a Senior Consultant, Cardiac Surgeon at Labaid Cardiac Hospital since 2012 till now. I have completed my medical graduation MBBS degree in 1988 from Sir Salimullah Medical College (SSMC) where I completed my internship programme too. I also obtained my MS degree in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) under Dhaka University in January 2001. I started my carrer as a Resident in General Surgery & Urology at BIRDEM in 1990 and continued my journey in various institutions like SSMC, NICVD, ZH. Sikder Womens Medical College and hospital, Khwaja Younus Ali Medical College and hospital and so on. I involved myself with Labaid Cardiac Hospital with the motive of providing total cardiac care to the people of my country from the year 2012 till now. I have presented scientific papers in many different national and international medical science conferences. I have also attended many international and national medical conferences as invited faculty too. My latest international scientific paper was presented in IACTSCON in 2018, Andrapradesh, India. I have extensive experience working with higher education and research institutions. I have six publications in different national and international medical journals, which includes Chest and Heart journal, Bangladesh Heart Journals and so on. I am a lifetime member of many national organizations like Bangladesh Cardiac Society, Bangladesh Medical Association, Bangladesh Association of Cardiac, Vascular & Thoracic Surgeon (BACVTS), Chest And Heart Association of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Heart Research Association and international member, Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon of Asia (ATCSA),
