Biography

Susana Fortich is a General Surgery Resident at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She has a strong interest in academic career development. Currently, she serves as chair of the membership committee for the Residents and Associates Society (RAS) and Chair of the Communications Committee for Women in Thoracic Surgery (WTS). Her interests include cardiothoracic surgery, global surgery, and public health.
