Current Executive Committee Members

The NAPBC Executive Committee conducts the main business of the NAPBC and administers the goals and objectives of the NAPBC as set forth in its mission statement. The Executive Committee reviews policies and activities of the NAPBC. It also considers and approves actions taken on behalf of the program and its standing committees. It approves membership and leadership of the NAPBC committees.

Current Advocacy and Outreach Committee Members

The NAPBC Advocacy and Outreach Committee develops strategies and interventions to increase awareness, improve delivery, and advocate for changes in the public policy arena for breast care, including the development of partnerships and collaborations with patient advocacy organizations and other healthcare providers. The committee also develops resources for NAPBC-accredited centers (educational programming, resource guides, etc.) on breast cancer patient and advocacy-related topics.

Current Education and Dissemination Committee Members

The Education and Dissemination Committee develops and delivers educational content that provides practical information and best practice examples to the NAPBC-accredited cancer programs and breast centers. The committee also develops breast cancer and breast disease related educational topics for the annual ACS Clinical Congress.

Current Standards and Accreditation Committee Members

The NAPBC Standards & Accreditation Committee oversees the accreditation standards development and interpretation and the site visit process by developing, evaluating, modifying, and maintaining the NAPBC standards for accreditation. The committee also oversees and evaluates the site visit processes and results.

Quality Improvement Committee

Current Quality Improvement Committee Members

The NAPBC Quality Improvement Committee supports NAPBC hospitals and stakeholder needs for QI education/training and methodologic advancements. The committee identifies and develops and/or review and triage potential NAPBC collaborative QI projects. The committee also provides expertise to CoC Quality Assurance and Data Committee for development and assessment of breast specific quality measures and to the CSSP Content Development Committee.
