This July, the new edition of the Advanced Trauma Life Support® program—ATLS® 11—launches, bringing the most significant enhancements yet to the world’s leading trauma education program. Developed with input from a global network of trauma care leaders and educators, ATLS 11 is designed to meet the evolving needs of trauma care professionals like you. Expert-Driven Updates – More than 200 clinical and educational experts from 20+ countries reimagined, reorganized, and revitalized the curriculum to meet the needs of today’s trauma clinicians.

Refined Clinical Guidelines – The ATLS algorithm now follows xABCDE, emphasizing emergent hemorrhage control based on the latest evidence.

Enhanced Hands-On Training – Course updates reinforce interactive learning with restructured discussions and skill sessions—without increasing course length.

Expanded Learning Resources – The fully rewritten manual includes 200+ new tables and images, plus updated sections on team communication, trauma systems, and disaster preparedness.

State-of-the-Art Digital Access – More than 20 redesigned mobile-friendly learning modules make it easier to study anytime, anywhere.

Investing in the Future of Trauma Care

To support these enhancements and ensure ATLS continues to set the global standard for trauma care, a modest price adjustment will take effect with the launch of ATLS 11. This update reflects the extensive improvements made to the course and its resources, reinforcing the highest quality training for every trauma clinician.

  • US/Canada – $120
  • High Income Country (outside North America) – $90
  • Upper-Middle Income Countries – $79
  • Lower-Middle Income Countries – $60
  • Low Income Countries – $0 (no cost to learner)

Pricing is a per learner course fee, which includes the ATLS Manual.

The ACS designed this advanced curriculum to be as cost-effective and accessible as possible to all audiences. Prices are based on World Bank country income classifications. This ACS course fee is used to cover development and additional costs for ATLS. In an effort to align with the COT mission, discounts are applied to all Countries outside of North America, with no charge for learners in Low Income Countries.
