NTDS Dataset Schema (XSDs)

The National Trauma Data Standard (NTDS) dataset is a subset of information describing a complete injury event. It includes information that is considered important from a trauma system, hospital personnel, and an injury patient’s perspective. The data elements within the NTDS dataset provide documentation of system performance and clinical care.

Explanation of the Element Type
